Thank you for everything…..

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

Hi Maneesha,

I am writing this not as a formality, but it is true that my journey with Y-axis for USA is succeeded just coz of you. When I, started the process with Y-axis I knew nothing, I was very confused with what to do and what not to do. The day I spoke to u it was a great relief for me. Throughout the process u was a great support; u was always there for my every problem. It took me almost one year but u have been so patient with me.

I have also communicated with other counselors of Y-axis but no one is even close to the way u made me understood and coordinated with me. I am not saying that other counselors are not good, but Maneesha for me u was the key to unlock the door of USA.

I think u know it very well that how I reach till here, there were many obstacles, and it took me quite long time to get the way out of it. Behind my success yes, ur contribution is there.

I wish, I could have meet u personally to say thank you, but its seems not possible, so I am doing through this mail.

From the bottom of my soul I really wanna thank u a lot.

A very warm thanks………

Layoffs mean more than lost wages for H-1B visa holders

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009

For the two out-of-work engineers, it’s a race against time. They’ve lost their Silicon Valley jobs and need to quickly find others at a time when companies everywhere are tightening their belts.

Both are Indians whose advanced degrees were earned at American universities. And both are facing the inflexible rules of their H-1B work visas.

Technically, as soon as they lost their jobs, they were required to leave the country. In reality, they can probably wing it for a week or two, but not much longer. (more…)

Testimonial: F-1Visa to Lincoln University

Thursday, January 29th, 2009

First of all I would like to thank Y-Axis for helping me to get my F1-Visa to Lincoln University.

My H1-B Visa was first rejected in the year 2007 and so I thought the embassy will not grant me any visa but later on I got to know about the Work and Study Program offered by Y-Axis. I went to the Banjara Hills office where my First Consultant Sumera Fatima had given all the details about the Visa.

So, I decided to apply for it and after Maneesha was my process consultant also provided best of the service to get my I-20.

After getting my I-20 I was sent to somajiguda office where Sumit Thomas was my Process Consultant – Visa Dept. He helped me a lot in the visa documentation and paperwork and finally I got my visa on 31st Dec’08.

Thanks a lot Y-Axis.

Will the stimulus create jobs in the U.S. or India?

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

Answer: In both countries.

I’ll bet you that President-elect Barack Obama’s job math will be fuzzy when he details the part of the $800 billion or so stimulus going to improve health care IT.

Many of the planned health care IT improvements, eliminating paper, creating portable electronic documents for patients and building vast databases to connect it all, involve application development and maintenance, which is the bread and butter of the offshore industry.

There is no doubt that this development work will be sent offshore by U.S. IT firms. Overseas firms may bid directly for this work but will likely get it as subcontractors. (more…)
