Can I submit applications simultaneously through two programs?
There are more than 100 programs to migrate to Canada. Immigrants have to choose any one of them to submit their applications. There are chances that you may be eligible for Express Entry but have not received invitations to apply. Provincial Nominee Program can be more interesting though processing of applications takes a lot of time.
IRCC has stated that candidates can have two applications at a time but they have to withdraw one of them before a decision is taken. The processing fee for the withdrawn application will not be refunded.
Each candidate can have only one Express Entry profile
Each candidate can have one Express Entry profile. Candidates can include their spouse or common-law partner in their Express Entry application. Each application has a principal applicant who receives the CRS score.
The principal applicants can include their dependents in the application. If a couple is applying through Express Entry, only one of them can be a principal applicant. It is not sufficient that having the Express Entry profile will guarantee an applicant to get an invitation to apply.
