The Intra-company transfers are directed at professionals who have stayed in Japan over a year and are transferring from one company to another. Specialists in particular fields or universities can apply if they have more than 10 years professional experience in their field of choice; like University professors, engineers and NGOs. In some circumstances, sponsored employees can acquire a PR, between the duration of 3 months to 5 years. Immigration authorities also mention a minimum salary of JPY 200,000 per month (or US$ 1650 per month).
