cost of applying for Australia PR

Australia will be welcoming 160,000 permanent residents in 2021-2022, as per the Migration Program Planning Levels. For Australia immigration, the program year runs from July to June.

Specifically designed by the Department of Home Affairs of the Australian government, Australia’s migration program seeks to achieve diverse social and economic outcomes.

Of the total number of newcomers to be welcomed in 2020-2021, a majority – that is, 79,600 – will be through the economic immigration of skilled foreign workers.

Another 77,300 Australia PR visa spaces will be for family visas, made up primarily of partner visas that enable Australians to reunite with family members from overseas.

If you are currently living overseas and exploring pathways to live and work in Australia, the first step towards realizing your overseas dream is that of finding out the visa options available for you.

You can take up permanent residence in Australia through a process of applying for and being granted an Australia PR visa allowing you to remain in Australia permanently. The most sought-after PR pathways for Australia include skilled work and family visas.

Those with a successful business abroad might be nominated by the government of a state or territory in Australia for investing in, establishing or managing a business in Australia.

  • Work and study anywhere in Australia

As per a report – An Indian Economic Strategy to 2035 – by the Australian government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, “Australia ranks 6 out of 100 countries on the ability to grow, attract and retain talent. The fact that migration has delivered an economic dividend for Australia is in large part due to policy settings which favour migrants of working age who have the necessary skills to contribute to the economy.”

The Indian diaspora in Australia is estimated to be 700,000 strong. The number includes both Indian residents in Australia as well as Australians of Indian descent.
