Fraud Prevention Month launched by IRCC
Posted on March 3, 2018
IRCC – Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada is devoting the month of March to create awareness regarding risks of scams and frauds. This drive is a part of the efforts by the government to carry out a comprehensive awareness campaign on this issue.
Ahmed Hussen the Immigration Minister of Canada said that IRCC will vary out several activities to promote awareness of issues such as fraudulent websites and immigration scams. It will also focus on the choice of immigration consultants or citizenship consultants by the immigrant applicants, as quoted by the CIC News.
The Immigration Minister of Canada elaborated that March is an important month to spread awareness regarding immigration aspects. It is an opportunity for everyone to update ourselves regarding several ways in which one can safeguard against scams and frauds with regard to immigration and citizenship, he said.
The immigration system of Canada is based on fairness. It processes applications based on a case by case. Nobody has special affiliations and can assure special treatment for your application. Also, nobody can give you a guarantee that the application will be approved.
Aspiring immigrants are not mandatorily required to hire representatives for their citizenship or immigration application. Nevertheless, they are free to avail services of Immigration Consultants if they so desire.
If you think your Canada visa application is complex or you are unable to decide the right immigration pathway for Canada, you can take help of expert immigration consultants. You must choose an agent who is authorized and arrive at this decision carefully.
It is a grave offense if you misrepresent yourself by submitting false documents or making false statements in your interactions with the Canadian government. This can seriously endanger your immigration status or application.
