The ideal GRE score for admissions to Overseas Graduate Schools

Aspiring students to Overseas Graduate Schools must understand that there are specific GRE scores that will be required for their admissions. Diverse programs have assorted expectations for the standardized tests. This has been revealed by the Overseas Admissions Experts. The OAEs advise prospective Overseas Students to take a look at the ranges for GRE scores for successful students. This is for the targeted schools where they aim to obtain admissions, as quoted by the US News. Three scores are obtained by candidates who successfully complete the GRE. These include the Verbal score ranging from 170 to 130 and Writing score ranging from 6 to 0. The Quantitative score ranging from 170 to 130 is also included in these. A Graduate School Admissions Consultant Erin Skelly says that test candidates must first identify Graduate schools that have been shortlisted. They must then find out the average highest GRE scores. Their aim must be to prepare in a manner to either excel these top scores or at least score equal to them. University of North Georgia Graduate Admissions Director Melinda Maxwell has shared her tips with aspiring students. She elaborates on the ideal Math and Verbal scores for admission to her university. These must add up to a figure between 315 and 310, adds the Director. Those who score in the range 305 to 300 also may have chances of admission said, Ms. Maxwell. It is, however, ideal to score between 315 and 310. This makes applicants comfortably competitive for admission, she adds. Educational Testing Service reveals the mean score in Verbal reasoning for GRE test candidates between July 2014 and June 2017.
