New Zealand Excellence Awards for Indian students worth 1 CR +

The Season III New Zealand Excellence Awards for Indian students worth 1 crores plus have been launched recently in Mumbai. The Kiwi Land is emerging as one among the favored overseas studies destinations for Indian students.
The New Zealand Universities have witnessed an increase of 10% for enrolments of Indian students in 2017. The June 2018 data indicate a 5% increase in the New Zealand first-time visas for Indian students, as quoted by the Times of India.
Ambitious students from India are being awarded part scholarships for overseas study in diverse courses in New Zealand. These include STEM, Fashion, and Business. Totally 34 scholarships that include 9 UG and 25 PG scholarships are being offered.
Partial fee scholarship for 1st-semester study across all 8 New Zealand Universities will be offered by NZEA – New Zealand Excellence Awards. These include the University of Otago, Victoria University of Wellington, University of Waikato, the University of Auckland, Massey University, Lincoln University, AUT University and the University of Canterbury.
The value of the scholarships is UG Studies – 10,000 NZ$ and 5,000 NZ$ for PG Studies. Partnering with Universities New Zealand the New Zealand Masters campaign was also launched by Education New Zealand.
The NZM campaign offers 18-month industry linked PG qualifications for students from India. This is applicable for all the courses at the 8 New Zealand universities. Extended options suitable for the career paths of the students are also offered by these universities.
Education New Zealand South, South East Asia Regional Director John Laxon announced the education initiatives for students from India. Brand Ambassador Education New Zealand actor Kriti Sanon also joined him on the occasion.
