Schengen Priority Visas for Indian passport holders soon

Travelling to Europe will get easier as Schengen states may soon start issuing priority Visas to Indian passport holders. This has been a welcome move in light of the rising number of Indian tourists to Europe.

 

Priority Visas to Indian passport holders are offered, at present, by the United Kingdom. The UK had started priority processing for Indians keeping in mind entrepreneurs and executives who needed to travel at a very short notice. The Visa processing for “Super priority” Visas takes a day and costs an additional Rs. 90,000. The “priority” Visas to the UK are processed in less than a week and come at an extra cost of Rs.20,000. The Schengen priority visas will cost much lower than the ones for the UK, as per The Times of India.
