CSU houses a large body of international students. Students from over 60 countries across the world are now studying at the University. In 2017, CSU appeared on the “World Top 10” list by Universitas 21.

CSU offers high-quality programs in accounting which are accredited by ICAA and CPA Australia. Successful students become eligible for membership of ICAA and CPA on course completion.

The MPA (Master of Professional Accounting) program has been designed specifically for students who wish to expand their undergrad degree. These students can expect a top class, hands-on academic experience at CSU. However, CSU expects its prospective students to be truly interested in the field.

During the MPA course, students are taught to critically analyze the concepts of accounting. They also learn to apply the principles of accounting to modern problems and scenarios. Students also learn how accounting and its applications are impacted by the business environment. They also learn how to apply the principles and analytical techniques from commercial law, economics, and business communication.

Students who successfully complete the course are awarded a Master Certification. Along with that, they are also awarded either a Graduate Diploma in Commerce a Graduate Diploma in Accounting. It all depends on the entry route of the students.

The curriculum of CSU degrees is designed in collaboration with industry experts. Hence it ensured that the students are prepared well to embark on their chosen career.

CSU graduates have a high rate of employment at 84%. This is 18% higher than the national average of Australia, as per the QILT website. CSU graduates are also among the high-earners of Australia. The starting salary for CSU students on an average is $65,100. The national average is $52,800, as per Study International.

The University runs “Work Ready” workshops at its study centres. These workshops provide helpful advice from CV writing to skills training. Students are also given step-by-step guidance on interview preparation and employer presentation.

MPA graduates have a wide range of opportunities in different fields like finance, government, industries, and commerce.

CSU also provides a 12-week long internship program after graduation which is facilitated by Study Group. This internship helps students get valuable professional experience. It also helps them build their networking skills while they meet their first industry contacts. The internship program equips the graduates with necessary tools to embark on their new career and pursue the job they have always dreamt of.
