Thai FlagPANAJI: Thailand government expects to enhance the arrival of people from India from existing 9.1 lakh to 10 lakh annually, with the opening of five visa processing centres in partnership with Cox & Kings Global Services (CKGS).

CKGS began its facility in Goa today, along with one more centre in Indore (MP).

“Every year lot of applications are received for visa to Thailand. We want more people to visit the country,” said Kamol Wan Sriposil.

She claimed that 9.1 lakh Indians visited Thailand during last year and the number is aimed to touch 10 lakh mark after the inauguration of these centres, in partnership with CKGS.

Eighty percent of the visas to Thailand are from tourists while only 20 percent go there for business purpose, she said, adding that Thailand has a facility of visa on arrival, she added.

Mumbai facility was inaugurated recently while two more in Pune (May 25) and Ahmedabad (June 1) are on the cards.
