UK grants 118,000 study visas & 103,000 work visas to Indians in June 2022: 150% increase from 2021

Highlights

• Around 103,000 Indian nationals received work visas which includes seasonal and skilled workers by the end of June 2022, which is an increase of 148% compared to the previous year.
• Around 46% of skilled worker visas that were granted globally were to Indian nationals.
• The United Kingdom is still considered one of the hot favorites for Indians either to work, study, or visit.
• The highest proportion (28%) of visiting visas were granted to Indian nationals.
• By the end of June 2022, approximately 258,000 Indian nationals have obtained visit visas. Which is around a 630% increase compared to the last year.

Indian Students' favorite destination

Indian citizens have received around 103,000 work visas by the end of June 2022, which is a 148% increase compared to the previous year. Indians have been granted (46%) skilled work visas globally. India stands top in receiving work visas worldwide.
