Hong Kong takes the top spot as the most visited city on the planet, which facilitated 27.7 million guests in 2014, holding the top spot in the top 100 destination rankings for the 6th consecutive year. The outcomes were supplied by Euromonitor International.

Hong Kong (27,770,000 guests in 2014)

London (16,784,000)

Singapore (17,146,700)

Bangkok (17,467,800)

Paris (15,271,900)

Macau (13,935,300)

Istanbul (10,486,300)

Kuala Lumpur (11,182,300)

London had overwhelmed Singapore and Bangkok with around 17.3 million overseas guests, yet it was found trailing Hong Kong, which attracted 27.7 million guests which helped the Asian city remain at first position for the 6th year straight. Singapore remained at third, Bangkok at fourth and Paris stayed in fifth position. With around 3.6% extra overseas immigrants in the most recent year researched, London was the main destination in Europe and it is the main city to get into the list of main 100. Macau jumped up to 6th position and behind it were the cities of Shenzhen, New York City, Istanbul and Kuala Lumpur. Rio de Janeiro was the greatest climber among the main 100 by moving 12 spots to 80th, which to a great extent on account of the FIFA World Cup as per Euromonitor International opines.

In conclusion, Asia remained the overwhelming region for city tourism, with more than 33% of the main 100 urban areas being situated in Asia in 2014. Indian urban communities experienced solid development in foreigners landing in 2014, with Delhi and Mumbai as the most popular destinations.
